When Fran and Joe Geores purchased the property at #710 Columbia Ave., the last thing on their mind was that the house was still  occupied by a past resident or, maybe even past         residents.  They just wanted to        establish their new Bed and      Breakfast Inn as a place where guests would feel especially comfortable.   Today, the Inn At Journey's End is that and more.  "We think that there are at least two different spirits in our home," Fran recently explained to Tour co-owner Diane Bixler.  "The old butler's     pantry on the 1st floor is an area where we often hear sounds of a

person  moving around and seemingly keeping themselves busy.  We  believe it to be a woman.   Some of the guests who seem to be sensitive have also felt her in the dinning room.  We  believe her to be a sister of a past owner of the house."
As Diane learned, that is not the only area where things are happening.  Many guests have mentioned hearing footsteps and have experienced     electrical problems on the 2nd and 3rd floors.  Objects seem to disappear and reappear regularly especially in the kitchen and butlers pantry.    Fran
